Dávid Szamosvári received his M.Sc. in Chemical Biology from the University of Jena in 2014 where he worked
in the lab of Dr. Bernd Schneider at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology.
In 2015, he joined the lab of Prof. Dr. Thomas Böttcher at the University of Konstanz for his PhD studies where he focused on the bioactivity of natural 2-alkyl-4-quinolones from Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Burkholderia species and their synthetic derivatives as new antimicrobial agents against human pathogens.
In 2020, Dr. Szamosvári continued to extended his filed of interest by joining the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in Boston as shared postdoc in the groups of Prof. Dr. Ramnik Xavier and Prof. Dr. Stuart Schreiber in close collaboration with the group of Prof. Dr. Jon Clardy at the Harvard Medical School as a Feodor Lynen research fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
Since 2022, he is Head of Research and Co-Founder of AMResolute in Vienna.
